Hjulmyra Christmas Card Illustration was a private commission. The clients wished to send a personalized holiday and New Year greeting. The artwork depicts their beautiful property, Hjulmyra in Sweden. A tranquil countryside home surrounded by snow, trees and the warmth of festive light.

The project included two versions: a still illustration for print and an animated GIF version for digital New Year greetings. In the animation, fireworks light up the skies around Hjulmyra.

Rendered in my signature blend of hand-painted watercolor textures and digital composition, this piece combines a tactile, traditional feel with a clean, contemporary presentation. 

Projects like this reflect the personal connection that can be created through illustration. It transforms familiar places into emotional, story-rich images.
